Interview experience of Texas Instruments Reliability Engineer in Fall 2018 [Copy link]

I want to share the interview experience of a netizen at Texas Instruments. Through the written test, I found that Texas Instruments still attaches great importance to basics. Most of the written test questions are basic knowledge. I arrived at 9 o'clock in the morning and found that there were only three interviews for FAE and two interviews for reliability (one of the three did not come). Although I saw the email saying that we would have dinner together, I guessed that there would not be many people, but I was still a little surprised that there were so few people. I saw on the Internet that 99 people applied for this position. After waiting for five minutes, the two groups separated, and the reliability interview was conducted first (the FAE went to the laboratory first, and I heard that they were building circuits). Then there was a wave of written tests before the interview. The questions were roughly as follows: 1. Kirchhoff's current-voltage law 2. The volt-ampere characteristics and curves of diodes 3. The volt-ampere characteristics and curves of transistors 4. What about ideal integrated circuits (leave a blank, it should be that the basics of analog circuits are completely unknown) 5. List some reliability test methods. That's about it. I feel that the answers are avalanche. = = Then the single interview started. Another student from Xidian University went first, so I took the opportunity to prepare again. There were three interviewers in total. They first introduced themselves (some people complained that it sounded like reciting a book, so everyone should take it as a warning...), and then asked very detailed questions about my resume. They were very concerned about whether I had basic knowledge and practical experience in reliability. Before the interview, I found a PPT online, and then borrowed a paper from a classmate on electronic packaging to read. I felt that the answers were okay. The whole process was not tough, but the questions were really detailed. For lunch, we ordered two meat and two vegetable takeouts (estimated to be 35+), and ate in the tea room with the interviewers. There were a lot of snacks in the tea room, really a lot... After lunch, I was called to meet the boss in the director's office, a greasy uncle with a side part, but I could see that he had a good level of knowledge. He didn't ask many questions, and the one that impressed me most was why I was suitable for this position. After coming out, an employee took me to the laboratory to learn the programming of electrostatic discharge testing, and taught me step by step, and then I did it again by myself. I personally think this is great, because I experienced what the job is like during the interview. The last one was the HR interview, which lasted only about five minutes. As soon as we met, she said she looked familiar. I said I was the first to arrive at the recruitment meeting on the 10th, and we chatted for a while. Then it was very relaxed, just chatting. The HR was very positive and had no airs. It ended at four o'clock. The whole process lasted seven hours and three rounds of interviews. It was a bit tiring, although the interview itself was actually quite relaxing. The interview questions were all structured. Look at the eight questions of P&G, prepare your self-introduction well, and speak English as much as you can (I spoke very explosively...) Here comes the point. I received a verbal offer at six o'clock the next evening, and they promised to give me the offer within a week! The efficiency is really super high. I got the offer before I even wrote the interview experience. I was so happy. I had never found any interview experience for this position on the Internet before. Maybe everyone wants to be a salesperson. The salary for this position is not too high, and the pressure is correspondingly less. Overall, the impression is still very good. The company is not big, but it is super clean and compact.

Texas Instruments' indicators are always very high, with a confidence level of 60%-70%.

Yes, it is difficult to get into a good company. The same is true for Huawei. It is quite difficult to get into them.  Details Published on 2019-2-14 13:23

Yes, it is difficult to get into a good company, and the same is true for Huawei. It is relatively difficult to get into either of them.
