If you count from the time I started downloading relevant materials to learn about it, it has been almost a month. During this period, almost half of the time was spent on connecting the kit and trying to log in to online programming, especially online programming. In more than 20 days, there were only two successful logins, and the rest were only logging in to the digikey website for online programming. In the last week or so, even adding hardware failed. The mobile phone Bluetooth can find the kit, but the APP just can't connect. The original project planned to add an infrared detection device as a home anti-theft alarm device. After getting the kit, I found that this idea was not easy to achieve because there was no docking station and it was impossible to add sensors. Later, I planned to use the motion sensor device of the kit and install the kit on the door to detect the action of the door opening. In order to cooperate with this experiment, an expansion card for an external lithium battery was specially added to the kit. The solution of external lithium battery was successful. As long as it is fully charged at night, it can basically guarantee the use of the next day. However, the operation detection is still unsuccessful. The door can be detected when it is opened quickly, but it cannot be detected when it is opened slowly. It seems that the expansion dock is indispensable to realize the plan of the project. After the new year, I will consider buying a 50P board-to-board connector male head online, making a PCB board for expansion circuit, and continue to carry out experiments. Through preliminary experiments, this kit impressed me that it is precise and compact, multi-functional, and has a wide range of applications. The online graphical programming is very stylish. The main disadvantages are: 1. The kit is connected to the mobile phone only by Bluetooth, lacks wifi function, and cannot be connected to the Internet independently without the mobile phone; 2. It is difficult to connect, especially the connection of online programming is quite difficult; 3. The battery life is too poor, and the practical effect is greatly reduced. Thanks to NXP for providing the experimental kit of the Internet of Things and eeworld for providing the testing opportunity, which gave me a preliminary understanding of this Internet of Things kit, especially the preliminary experience of graphical programming. I hope NXP can overcome the shortcomings of the kit and provide a basic guarantee for expanding the application of the Internet of Things kit.
