I graduated from university in June 2018 and now work in a company that doesn't pay much attention to hardware. This job is really useless and I can't learn any technology. Now I want to find a new job as an embedded hardware engineer, but I always feel that I can't grasp the key points. During this time of work, I found a lot of schematics to study, including some schematics of high-end development boards. I recorded some circuits that I didn't understand from these schematics and studied them. Over time, I accumulated some knowledge. But I still feel that it is far from enough. I want to supplement my knowledge but I don't have a clear direction.

If you can't learn any technology, you can go out and look for it. You can get in touch with more things. Choose one as the main direction of study. Schematics, PCB layout, programming, external coordination, etc. Programming can also be divided into FPGA, DSP, ARM, etc. These aspects can be studied in depth. It is still recommended that you learn while doing. If you prefer a hard direction, it is also good to play a PCB layout to a certain level. You can go to a large unit, temporarily set a direction, and look for it in that direction. The content is relatively simple. Try to learn this one well. You can also work in a small unit. One person makes a whole set of products. It is very hard. You can get in touch with all kinds of things. See which one you want to do more. So as to make choices. Find the focus. Keep a learning state. If what you learn is not related to what you are doing now, it is easy to lead to low efficiency. It is better to find a position related to what you want to learn. Go to practice. It is normal to have no direction, just look while looking. You are still very young. Grasp the first few years, there is still hope.
