Installation precautions for glass rotor flowmeter with large diameter flow [Copy link]

Glass rotor flowmeters with large diameters are heavy. To avoid pipe bending, measures such as reinforcement support can be taken when necessary. During installation, the rotor flowmeter should also be protected from excessive pulling, pressing, twisting and other forces. To avoid excessive external force and damage to the cone tube. According to different working conditions during use, filters should be installed upstream of the rotor flowmeter when necessary to prevent impurities from contaminating and blocking the rotor flowmeter. If the fluid is unstable and has pulsating flow, a buffer can be installed to eliminate pulsating flow to ensure good measurement of the rotor flowmeter. When the rotor flowmeter is in use, the control valve on the upstream pipeline of the flowmeter should be slowly unscrewed, and then the flow rate should be adjusted with the regulating valve to avoid sudden opening and causing the float to rise rapidly and damage the cone tube. Before installing the glass rotor flowmeter, the top lining in the flowmeter for transportation protection should also be removed. And check whether the cone tube is damaged and whether the float can move up and down freely. It can be installed only after it is confirmed to be normal. The newly installed pipeline should be rinsed clean before installing the glass rotor flowmeter. The minimum scale value of the rotor flowmeter should be at the bottom and it should be installed vertically on a vibration-free pipe. The angle between the center line of the rotor flowmeter and the plumb line should not exceed 5 degrees. In order to facilitate maintenance, it is recommended to install a bypass pipe.
