Do not look directly at the UV light at work. It can cause damage to your eyes. Do not expose your skin to UV light for a long time.
Hardware description:
The TYPE-C interface supplies power, and then two RY3730 constant current boosts are used to supply power to 4 strings of UVA and UVC lamp beads.
The constant current can be adjusted by the resistor formula in the schematic diagram
The total working power is measured 3.5W
There are two versions of this PCB, both designed as single-sided aluminum substrates:
UV lamp driver version: This is the initial proofing version. I found that the heat dissipation of the aluminum substrate is not enough and it will become hot after 20 seconds. It is okay for short-term use and needs to increase auxiliary heat dissipation or reduce the operating current for long-term use.
UV lamp driver++ version: This is a heat dissipation enhanced version that increases the heat dissipation capacity by increasing the area of the aluminum substrate. It should be able to work for a long time (it has not been verified by board printing).
Component parameters are subject to the schematic diagram. PCB production process: 1.6mm thickness single-sided aluminum substrate
