The PTN5150A-PTN36043 evaluation board can demonstrate USB Type-C CC control logic behavior for DFP and UFP cases. It can be controlled via the onboard bundle option or the I2C interface using tools like Aardvark I2C. Depending on the device connected to the Type-C socket, onboard status LEDs can indicate the current connection type. There is also a USB3 SuperSpeed redriver PTN34043 designed specifically for Type-C applications to extend the driver strength of USB3 5Gbps signals.
