Introduction:
The project requires a high-precision sensor because the voltage of the sensor is very low and is easily overwhelmed by noise.
In order to solve the above problems, the verification version is produced using a module method, which can connect various sensors and avoid separate requirements for making boards.
The op amp can be configured as needed, but the benchmark is more important, so choose a foreign brand.
The ADS1251 is a precision, wide dynamic range, delta-sigma analog-to-digital (A/D) converter operating from a single +5V supply with 24-bit resolution. The delta-sigma architecture allows for wide dynamic range and ensures 24-bit dropout-free code performance. For slew rates up to 20kHz, an effective resolution of 19 bits (1.5ppm rms noise) is achieved.
The ADS1251 is designed for high-resolution measurement applications in cardiac diagnostics, smart transmitters, industrial process control, weight scales, chromatography, and portable instrumentation. The converter includes a flexible 2-wire synchronous serial interface for low-cost isolation.
The ADS1251 is a single-channel converter in an SO-8 package. It is pin compatible with the faster ADS1252 (41.7kHz data rate).
