An electrocardiogram (ECG) system records the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time by measuring the surface potential of living tissue. It uses biopotential electrodes to pick up heart signals from specific parts of the body. The differential voltage between two electrodes or the differential voltage between a certain electrode and the average voltage of multiple electrodes can be displayed as an ECG output after measurement.
This reference design uses the latest ADAS1000 series of low-power electrocardiogram (ECG) analog front-ends launched by Analog Devices to implement functions such as 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) signal measurement, respiration measurement, pacing signal detection, and lead off detection.
The ADAS1000 series provides a low-power, compact data acquisition system for bioelectrical signal applications, designed to simplify the task of acquiring and ensuring high-quality ECG signals. The ADAS1000 series includes a total of 5 models: ADAS1000 , ADAS1000-1 , ADAS1000-2 , ADAS1000-3 , and ADAS1000-4 . Through a single chip or a combination of multiple chips, it can measure electrocardiogram (ECG) signals, chest impedance, pacing artifacts, and lead connection/disconnection status, and output this information in the form of data frames and provide it at a programmable data rate Lead/vector or electrode data. Its low power consumption and small size make it suitable for battery-powered portable applications. It is also a high-performance device, making it suitable for use in high-end diagnostic equipment. <br/
