The GoWired Multi-Protocol Gateway is an evolution of one of our previous development boards, the GetWired Ethernet Gateway, with more power, more features, more functionality and a better solution for wired automation systems. It features a powerful ARM M0+ microcontroller with 8x the ROM and 16x the RAM memory. We doubled the RS485 transceiver to be able to use two different communication protocols simultaneously (MySensors, MODBUS, etc.) and added a CAN transceiver as it is also widely used in home automation. USB obviously has to be included as well. To ensure reliable Ethernet communication, we use the market-leading Wiznet W5500 chip. The microcontroller internal memory can be expanded via SD card, for example. G. Used to collect debugging information. The GoWired multi-protocol gateway also features improved power circuitry and can now handle a voltage range of 7-26 VDC. Onboard current and power monitors can periodically share power-related data, as well as other information about device status. For example, an e-ink screen can be used to display this information. All of this is designed with reliability and safety in mind, especially in terms of power supply (ESD, overcurrent, overvoltage, reverse polarity protection) and EMC and EMI precautions. The device is housed in a compact four-slot DIN rail enclosure.
The QorIQ ® T2080 Reference Design Board (T2080RDB) is a highly integrated tool that contains the QorIQ T2080 communications processor.
