Erha’s object recognition is very powerful, and any object is a piece of cake in front of him.

According to the communication format of [Erha Image Recognition Artificial Intelligence Vision Sensor] 5. Erha Sensor Serial Port Communication Test , the Erha sensor communicates with the motor driver board NUCLEO-F746ZG. After receiving the recognized motor, it controls the motor to run, and stops the motor after running for a period of time.

The motor driver board NUCLEO-F746ZG uses the serial port USART2, the sending port PA2, and the receiving port PA3 to connect to the communication interface of Erha, and the baud rate is 9600.

The control strategy is: the motor driver board NUCLEO-F746ZG sends the parameter reading command at intervals of 1s: 0x55, 0xaa, 0x11, 0x00, 0x23, 0x33. When the identified motor 1 is received, the motor is started and the motor is running. After running for 10 seconds, a command is sent to stop the motor.

If the motor is not identified, the driver board will not control the motor to run:

The motor speed is set to 500RPM, and when running normally, it stops on time after 10S.

Summary: Erha has a very high recognition rate, fast response, and simple communication. I checked the communication data of Erha's color recognition, which is similar to that of object type recognition. This is why Erha can quickly recognize colors in smart cars and run according to the trajectory. Erha also has its imperfections. The camera is not clear enough and the object recognition is wrong. I hope this can be improved. Overall, Erha provides users with a quick start and quick application solution, which I think is very good.
