Through the study of this course, students will master the basic theories of modern microelectronic devices and integrated circuit design. They will be familiar with the actual structure, working principle, basic characteristics and applications of semiconductor devices; recognize the internal connection between the macroscopic characteristics of devices and microscopic structural parameters; understand the composition, process and design methods, steps, rules and computer-aided design systems of integrated circuits, especially the principles and layout design of unit circuits; enable students to have the theoretical foundation of modern microelectronic devices and integrated circuit design, and master the basic design methods.
