The boot logo of the ITOP-3399 platform is divided into two stages, namely the logo of the u-boot stage and the logo of the kernel stage. If the two use the same logo image, they can be seamlessly connected. If you need to change the boot logo, you only need to replace kernel/logo.bmp and kernel/logo_kernel.bmp, as shown in the following figure:

logo.bmp is the logo when Uboot starts. logo_kernel.bmp is the logo when the kernel starts. To make a boot logo, find a picture with a resolution of 1280*800. Because the author uses a 7-inch LVDS screen for testing, the resolution of the 7-inch LVDS screen is selected. The resolution can be set according to the screen parameters. Open Photoshop software, set the size of the picture in PS software, and save it as a bmp format picture. The author uses the following images as the uboot logo and kernel logo respectively:
Replace the following files in the Linux source code with the images you just made: kernel/logo.bmp and kernel/logo.bmp. Recompile the kernel and burn the generated kernel.img into the board.
After burning the image, as shown in the figure below, you can see that the uboot startup logo and kernel startup logo have been replaced.
