Recently, a series of rumors about Huawei's executive changes and business sales have appeared in WeChat groups and public website platforms, attracting attention and inquiries from customers, governments, and domestic and foreign media, causing misunderstandings and misinterpretations by the outside world, seriously affecting business development, corporate reputation, and employee sentiment. The rumors are groundless and have serious consequences. In order to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the company, Huawei formally reported the case to the Baogang Police Station of the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau on January 25, 2021. We believe that the judicial authorities will handle the case in accordance with the law.
At the same time, after investigation by Huawei, some employees participated in spreading rumors, and their behavior seriously violated the "Huawei Employee Business Conduct Code".
