Beijing time, March 23 morning news, according to a spokesman for Dow Jones, the company's "Wall Street Journal" will start selling single iPad electronic newspapers from Wednesday, and users can read news without long-term subscriptions.

"Wall Street Journal" will sell single electronic newspapers through its iPad application, each priced at $1.99. Non-subscribed users can still read some free content, or buy single newspapers.

This single-sale electronic newspaper only contains the content of the morning edition of the print version of "Wall Street Journal", which will not be updated on the same day. Users can also buy the electronic newspapers of the previous 7 days, each priced at $1.99.

Currently, users pay $3.99 per week to read the news provided by the "Wall Street Journal" website and its iPad, iPhone , Android and BlackBerry applications. Because "Wall Street Journal" provides subscription services for print and electronic newspapers through its own website, Apple cannot share this revenue. But for single electronic newspapers sold through iPad applications, Apple will receive 30% of the sales revenue. A spokesman for "Wall Street Journal" said: "We have found that people are more likely to subscribe after trying the product. We will continue to look for new distribution channels."
