Sony Xperia has announced that it will hold a global launch event for new Sony Xperia products at 15:00 Beijing time on May 11. The official said, "Next ONE is coming, heading to the next '1' chapter, a new member is about to take the stage." It is expected to be the brand new Sony Xperia 1 Mark IV (fourth generation).
In the hours leading up to the launch, 91mobiles revealed the official renders of the phone.
From the appearance point of view, Sony has still maintained its traditional design style very well. I believe that most Sony fans will also like this model.
While most manufacturers choose a "bangs" or "hole punch" borderless full screen, Sony is different. It still retains the top and bottom borders, although the top and bottom edges are not very narrow.
Of course, while other manufacturers are removing the 3.5mm headphone jack, Sony has followed the trend, probably to make this model thinner.
IT Home learned that Sony Xperia 1 is the flagship smartphone launched by Sony Mobile Communications on February 25, 2019. It is the world's first smartphone with a 21:9 CinemaWide 4K HDR OLED screen and Sony's first triple-camera smartphone with Eye AF eye tracking technology.
Subsequently, Sony publicly released the latest Sony Xperia 1 III on April 14, 2021, which has been more than a year.
According to previous reports, Sony's next flagship phone, the Xperia 1 IV, has appeared on Geekbench. The phone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 processor, and it is expected that the new phone will also have a major upgrade in terms of camera.
