On April 25, according to Taiwan media Economic Daily, the market heard that the supply situation of MediaTek's WiFi chips has improved a lot, and because of the high chip integration and overall cost performance, it has won the favor of customers.

Industry insiders said that the current major suppliers of communication chips include Qualcomm, Broadcom, MediaTek and Realtek. When the supply-demand gap was the largest last year, the delivery time of some products was more than 52 weeks.

Currently, the supply is still tight, but the supply situation of most manufacturers has gradually improved. Among them, MediaTek's supply has increased significantly.

According to the report, there are market rumors that MediaTek has also won a lot of awards in the recent bidding cases launched by mainland telecom operators.
