Vivo has confirmed that it will release the T1 5G phone in the Indian market on February 9. Before the official release, the specifications and appearance of the phone have been exposed. According to the real spy photos shared by the whistleblower Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), the back of the phone uses a spotted soft color pattern and the front of the body is equipped with a water drop-shaped bangs area.
Another whistleblower, Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), shared sample photos of the T1 5G. Mukul said in a tweet: "Performance aside, just from the camera function, it will be a super device."
It is reported that the vivo T1 5G is different from the T1 and T1x currently on sale in China. The phone uses a lower-end chipset than the latter two - the Snapdragon 695. Other specifications of the T1 5G include a 6.58-inch FHD+120Hz LCD screen, 4/6/8GB LPDDR4X memory, 128GB UFS 2.2 storage space, 5000mAh battery, 18W charging, and a side fingerprint reader embedded in the power button, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of cameras, the T1 5G has three cameras on the back, including a 50-megapixel primary camera and two 2-megapixel sensors, probably one for depth capture and the other for macro shots. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Looking at the specifications, this is a pretty solid camera setup, especially on a device that is expected to be priced under INR 20,000.
