Under the normalized epidemic prevention and control, in order to make travel more convenient for passengers, Hohhot Station has upgraded the system of the real-name verification gate at the entrance. Passengers only need to swipe their ID cards to complete the two operations of "real-name verification" and "health code verification".
It is understood that as long as passengers have used the epidemic prevention and health information code, when they swipe their ID card at the verification gate at the entrance and exit, the health code status will appear on the screen, making entry into the station more convenient.
If a non-green code is found, the gate machine and the staff's terminal will alarm at the same time. The staff will cooperate with the passenger to conduct a secondary verification. After confirming that the passenger is a "non-green code" passenger, they will be handled in accordance with relevant epidemic prevention and control regulations.
For passengers who use other valid documents to enter the station and board the train or hold an electronic temporary identification certificate, there is a manual channel next to the entrance gate. They only need to provide their ID number to the staff to check their health code status, and there is no need to show the green code.
China Railway reminds that due to changes in the epidemic situation in various places, epidemic prevention policies will also be dynamically adjusted. Passengers can log in to the Railway 12306 App before traveling to check the epidemic prevention policies of their travel destinations.
