Huawei's foldable screen smartphone market share is second only to Samsung

      Due to sanctions, Huawei's mobile phone business has encountered some difficulties, but Huawei still maintains its leading edge in the foldable screen mobile phone segment and is the leader among domestic foldable screen mobile phones.

　　Today, industry insider Ross Young wrote an article pointing out that with Google canceling orders for its foldable phone Pixel Fold, Samsung's foldable phone market share in 2021 will reach 86%, higher than last year's 83%. Huawei will rank second with a 10% share, making it the brand with the largest share among domestic mobile phone brands.

　　According to data, Huawei is one of the first brands in the industry to launch foldable screen phones. As early as February 2019, Huawei released the Mate X foldable screen at MWC2019. It innovatively adopts an eagle-wing folding design. The fully unfolded screen size is 8 inches. There are no holes or grooves on the display screen, presenting a panoramic view.

　　Subsequently, Huawei launched a number of folding screen models such as Mate Xs and Mate X2. Among them, Mate X2 subverted the "outward folding" design of the previous two generations of Huawei and adopted an inward folding solution.

　　Now Huawei is about to release a new product in the Mate X2 series - the Mate X2 Collector's Edition. This new folding screen mobile phone is equipped with 12GB of memory and 512GB of large-capacity storage, and will be launched on November 18.
