As usual, Redmi started warming up its new Note series products on social networks early on, so before today's press conference, we actually already knew most of the parameter information.
Compared with previous products, the Redmi Note series has not only completely changed the appearance design, but also upgraded the screen, core processor and other parts.
The product in Sina Digital's hand is the "super cup" in the Redmi Note series, Redmi Note 11 Pro+. Let's take a look at its hands-on experience.
Appearance: Right-angle frame comes to Redmi
Right-angle borders became popular with the iPhone 4. They were popular for a few years because of their simple structure and easy internal layout. After that, mobile phones pursued a more rounded feel. Until last year, when the iPhone 12 returned, right-angle borders became popular again in the mobile phone industry.
Redmi also seems to be planning to catch up with this trend, using "small straight edges" on its latest product, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ series, which is the Redmi Note 11 series we see now.
The "small straight edge" of the new machine
Of course, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is not completely imitating Apple. It has made some optimizations and made some improvements on the basis of the sandwich. For example, the transition part of the right-angle frame retains a little arc, which combined with the right-angle frame makes it feel less "straight". In addition, its frame is not metal, so the body is not as heavy as the iPhone 12.
The thickness of the edmi Note 11 Pro+ is only 8.34 mm
This right-angle design is certainly not as good as the curved one, but it has more advantages in engineering and can make full use of the internal space. However, it is also because of this that the thickness of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is only 8.34 mm, but it looks more obvious than the curved body. The interior houses a 4500 mAh battery.
In addition, the back part of Note 11 Pro+, especially the lens module, has a proportion and R angle that matches the body. The three lenses, flash, and laser module are harmoniously placed together, which is more reasonable than the Xiaomi 10 series last year.
Because it is a 100-megapixel lens, the overall thickness cannot be reduced, the lens module is difficult to be flat and the bulge is obvious, but the official phone case and the phone case sold separately by Xiaomi can appropriately cover this up.
New camera lens bulge
The lens bulge is an unavoidable problem of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+, but the AG frosted glass on the back has improved its appeal. It should be said that this piece of glass has elevated the overall texture of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ to a higher level. The dark green phone in our hands more clearly reflects the sense of luxury.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ uses a 6.67-inch screen with FHD+ resolution and a 20:9 ratio. The brightness of this OLED screen is 500 nits and the peak is 700 nits, which is a normal level for this position. This is an AMOLED screen provided by Samsung, with a micro-hole at the top of only 2.96 mm and a frame of only 1.75 mm. In addition, the micro-slit earpiece on the top is consistent on the left/right/top.
