On July 8, Leman Optoelectronics released its 2021 semi-annual performance forecast, and its performance is expected to rise in the same direction. During the reporting period, the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 18 million yuan to 23 million yuan, an increase of 217.60%-305.82% over the same period last year, and the profit in the same period last year was 5.6675 million yuan; the operating income was 550 million yuan to 590 million yuan, an increase of 40.0%-50.18% over the same period last year; the impact of non-recurring gains and losses on the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was about 4.3 million yuan.
Leman Optoelectronics' main overseas export markets have gradually recovered, and the growth rate of Micro LED ultra-high-definition display products based on COB advanced technology has accelerated. Export orders were full in the first half of 2021, and the company's overseas revenue increased year-on-year.
At the same time, the demand in the domestic display market continues to grow, and driven by the new ultra-high-definition visual revolution of 5G+8K, Leman Optoelectronics has deployed its Micro LED display products based on COB advanced technology in three areas: professional display, commercial display, and civilian display. It has strengthened the construction of domestic regional sales networks and showrooms, focused on developing high-quality partners, and continued to increase its market share, thereby driving rapid growth in domestic operating income.
When accepting institutional research, Leman Optoelectronics said that the supply of key raw materials for LED displays, such as driver ICs, PCB boards, and display chips, is tight and prices are rising, which has affected the product prices and order delivery capabilities of the entire industry. The production capacity of some small and medium-sized manufacturers will be squeezed, and the supply of the LED display industry will tend to high-end products with higher profits, thereby promoting the overall upgrading of the industry and further improving the concentration of the industry. The company will adjust the prices of different types of products appropriately depending on the situation.
