A few years ago, Apple launched a battery health display function on the iPhone, allowing users to check the health of their phone’s battery at any time and understand the performance of the phone through this function.

Now, the first Android system to support battery health display has appeared.

Xiaomi launches Android's first battery health display feature

On June 18, Xiaomi officially announced the launch of the battery health system through the MIUI official account. Users can check the battery health of their mobile phones at any time through the "System Settings-Power Saving and Battery-Battery Page" path.

Xiaomi introduced that there are many factors that affect battery aging, including usage time, number of cycles, storage temperature, storage capacity and other major factors. Xiaomi Battery Health Display can estimate the battery health status based on complex battery aging factors, and convert the battery health into a corresponding scale based on the corresponding characteristics of aging impedance, temperature and capacity, so that you can know the current battery health status at a glance.

At the same time, when the battery health is low, the system will automatically give a prompt that "the current battery health is low. For a better battery life experience, it is recommended to go to an authorized service center for inspection." At this time, the user can go to a nearby authorized service center for inspection in order to obtain a better battery life experience.

MIUI will warn you when battery health is low

Previously, Xiaomi's Redmi product director Wang Teng had announced this feature at the Redmi Note 10 series launch conference, and the Redmi Note 10 Pro model has been first equipped with battery health. This is also the first Android phone in history that can display battery health.

Xiaomi officially stated that the battery health function of multiple models is currently being tested and will be added to the stable version of the system after the test is completed. The specific models are as follows: Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 11 Pro, Xiaomi 11, Xiaomi 11 Youth Edition, Xiaomi 10 Ultra Commemorative Edition, Xiaomi 10 Pro, Xiaomi 10, Redmi K40 Pro+, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40, Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.
