Jiangsu: In the first five months, integrated circuit imports exceeded 164.7 billion yuan, and exports were about 87.9 billion yuan

According to the news released by Nanjing Customs, the import and export value of foreign trade in Jiangsu Province from January to May was 1961.85 billion yuan, an increase of 20.8% year-on-year and 16% over the same period in 2019, accounting for 13.3% of my country's total import and export value during the same period. Among them, exports were 1212.87 billion yuan, an increase of 23.4%, an increase of 16.2% over the same period in 2019; imports were 748.98 billion yuan, an increase of 16.7%, an increase of 15.6% over the same period in 2019.

From the perspective of export products, Jiangsu's mechanical and electrical products have a relatively good export growth rate, and the export of labor-intensive products has also maintained growth. From January to May, Jiangsu Province exported 809.68 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 23.9%, accounting for 66.8% of Jiangsu Province's total export value. Among them, the export of integrated circuits was 87.87 billion yuan, an increase of 21.3%; the export of laptops was 68.53 billion yuan, an increase of 18.4%.

From the perspective of imported products, the growth rate of Jiangsu's mechanical and electrical product imports was weaker than the overall growth rate, and the import volume of some bulk cargo increased. From January to May, Jiangsu Province imported 416.33 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 12.9%, 3.8 percentage points lower than the overall import growth rate, accounting for 55.6% of Jiangsu Province's total import value. Among them, imported integrated circuits were 164.74 billion yuan, an increase of 9.3%; imported electrical equipment was 21.15 billion yuan, an increase of 25%; imported measurement, testing, analysis and automatic control instruments and equipment were 17.38 billion yuan, an increase of 19.5%; imported auto parts were 6.96 billion yuan, an increase of 35.5%.
