Not long ago, Huawei held a launch conference for the Hongmeng operating system and Huawei's full-scenario new products, and the long-awaited HarmonyOS 2 was officially released.

At the press conference, Huawei officially announced the list of "hundreds" of devices that will be upgraded to HarmonyOS 2, including Huawei Mate40 series, Mate X2, P40 series, Mate30 series, MatePad Pro and other devices.

Today, according to blogger @长安数码君, old Huawei and Honor users can upgrade to the Hongmeng system in advance, one quarter faster than the announced plan.

The blogger said that due to the smooth research and development, Huawei's P30 series mobile phones and Honor 30 and V30 series will start the internal testing of the Hongmeng system in June, and all will start the public testing of HarmonyOS in July.

It is worth mentioning that the blogger also revealed that Huawei is expected to officially announce the early upgrade plan tomorrow.

It is understood that HarmonyOS 2 brings a new UI interaction method, and extensively applies card-type design, such as the unified control center, HarmonyOS desktop, etc. It is easy to use and has a simple interface.

At the same time, the HarmonyOS 2 system also makes extensive use of distributed technology, supports multi-camera mode, and multi-device combination photography. Mobile phones, tablets, watches and even drones can be interconnected.

In terms of performance, Huawei has made a lot of optimizations to the underlying layer of HarmonyOS 2, improving performance by 42% while saving more power.

In addition, according to laboratory data provided by Huawei, on a device with a total capacity of 128GB, 36 months of use, and a remaining capacity of 5GB, HarmonyOS 2 can ensure that the sequential read and write and random read and write speeds only lose 4.5%, 0.9%, 3.4%, and 4.8% respectively, with almost no impact on the user experience.
