SiRuiPu: The company has reached cooperation with new wafer/packaging and testing suppliers, but performance is still limited

Recently, SiRuiPu said in an institutional survey that the company's supply chain mainly includes wafers and packaging and testing. Since the second half of 2020, the industry's production capacity has become increasingly tight. In response to the above situation, the company has gradually taken some measures to reduce the impact, including building relevant production capacity guarantee mechanisms with major wafer suppliers, increasing equipment investment on the packaging and testing side to improve the supply-side delivery capabilities, etc.

At the same time, in order to meet more customer needs and ensure the security of the supply chain, the company actively contacts other domestic and foreign wafer and packaging suppliers, and introduces new qualified suppliers as appropriate. At present, the company has reached cooperation with some new wafer and packaging suppliers and started delivery. Since the application areas of the company's products have relatively high requirements for product quality, when selecting new suppliers, the company will strictly control the supplier's process production level and operation capabilities in accordance with the company's quality requirements to ensure product quality.

SiRuiPu said that at the end of 2020, the company had taken certain measures on the wafer and packaging and testing ends to reduce adverse effects, but it will take some time for the above measures to take effect, so the performance in the first quarter of 2021 is still subject to some limitations of production capacity; second, affected by fluctuations in demand in downstream application areas, the product structure sold in the first quarter of 2021 has changed.

The main reason for the decline in the company's comprehensive gross profit margin in the first quarter of 2021 was the fluctuation in demand for product types in downstream related application areas during this quarter, which led to changes in the structure of products sold.
