The company spokesperson has clarified the false rumors about Huawei making cars many times. Today, we reiterate: Huawei will not make cars. This long-term strategy was made clear in 2018 and has not changed.

We believe that what the industry needs is not Huawei-branded cars, but Huawei's ICT technology capabilities accumulated over more than 30 years to help automakers build future-oriented cars, that is, to provide automakers with intelligent connected vehicle components based on Huawei's ICT capabilities.

So far, we have not invested in any car companies. We will not invest in any car companies in the future, let alone hold a controlling stake or participate in a stake. From now on, any rumors that Huawei is making cars or participating in the car manufacturing industry are all rumors and should not be believed.

We have selected BAIC, Changan and GAC as strategic partners to support them in building their own sub-brands. Cars using Huawei's autonomous driving solutions can only use the HI logo, which stands for Huawei Inside, with Huawei's authorization.

Regarding the cooperation between Huawei and Jinkang Seres, a subsidiary of Chongqing Xiaokang Group, Huawei is the supplier of electric components and HiCar cockpit components for Seres SF5.
