Goke Micro stated in the announcement that the rumored information about the company's profit forecast is false, and the company has not yet released any financial forecasts for 2021 or future years. Regarding the company's operating income, profits and other operating data, investors are advised to refer to the company's performance forecasts, performance bulletins and regular reports.
The company has established a complete and effective safety and compliance operation control system, strictly abides by Chinese laws and regulations and relevant international conventions in daily operations, and strictly abides by relevant regulations and guidelines and the principles of "truthfulness, accuracy, completeness, timeliness and fairness" in information disclosure. In response to the false information in the above rumors, the company has reported the case to the public security organs and will pursue the legal responsibilities of the relevant parties.
It is worth noting that chip stocks have generally performed poorly recently, but Goke Micro has soared like a "monster stock." It rose from 43.74 yuan per share on April 12 to 102.97 yuan per share (before writing), with the highest increase in a month approaching 140%.
Earlier, market rumors said that the sales growth of Gokewei's solid-state storage control chips was related to the need for a large number of hard drives to mine the emerging digital currency Chia. Relevant staff of the company said that Chia mining generally uses mechanical hard drives rather than solid-state drives, and the company's chip sales growth mainly comes from domestic substitution.
Some media analyzed that the real reason for the surge in sales of Gokewei chips may be related to the continuous release of Yangtze Memory's production capacity. Yangtze Memory is my country's largest NAND chip manufacturer. Gokewei's solid-state storage control chip and NAND chip are adapted to form a complete solid-state hard drive product.
According to official website information, Gokewei was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Changsha. It has long been committed to the development of large-scale integrated circuits and solutions in the fields of smart set-top boxes, smart monitoring, storage, the Internet of Things, etc. It has its own SSD master control chip and was listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board in June 2017.
