On April 5th local time, Google released the Android security update announcement for April 2021 and began rolling out updates to supported Pixel phones.
Developers can now view the Android Security Bulletin for April 2021, which details multiple security vulnerabilities that affect open source components as well as some closed source components from vendors such as Qualcomm and MediaTek.
IT Home learned that the announcement also mentioned some vulnerabilities for Google Pixel phones. The vulnerability is classified as "medium" and affects the Android framework and Qualcomm location/GPS implementation of Pixel phones.
In addition, Google has fixed some user-facing issues in the latest update for Pixel phones, improved camera quality for third-party apps, and more.
