On March 23, Gree Electric Appliances disclosed the appearance design patent of its "smart watch", with the publication number CN306400245S.
The patent abstract shows that the purpose of this design product is: to be used as a smart device for wearable, instant messaging, precise positioning, emergency calls, time alarms, photo and video recording, learning and education, multimedia, etc.
The Qichacha APP shows that the smart watch patent was applied for as early as October 20, 2020.
Judging from the patent drawings, Gree's smartwatch adopts a square screen design. The four sides of the screen are wrapped in plastic material, and it has a rubber strap. It seems to be positioned for outdoor use. The red dot at the top of the screen should be a camera, which can be used for taking photos, videos, and video calls.
The back of the watch uses an electric contact charging solution, and there is no heart rate detection module.
It is not clear what this watch will be used for. Judging from the descriptions such as "precise positioning, emergency call, learning and education", it seems to be a children's watch.
