Today, according to the whistleblower @WalkingCat, the Samsung SmartThings app has been available on the Microsoft Store, and users can view the app in the Microsoft Store.
IT Home learned that according to the application description, SmartThings allows users to monitor and control smart devices from their computers, including turning on lights, locating lost devices, and so on.
Unfortunately, although the app is already available on the Microsoft Store, it is not yet available for download, but it shouldn’t be too long.
Earlier this month, IT Home reported that Samsung plans to list its SmartThings app on the Microsoft Store. Similar to the Alexa app, the SmartThings app allows users to control smart homes, including non-Samsung devices, from their PCs.
The inclusion of the SmartThings app will be a useful addition to the Windows platform, which lacks dedicated apps for smart hardware from actual device manufacturers.
It is worth mentioning that the Samsung Messaging app and the Samsung Free newsfeed app are already available on the Microsoft Store, and the highly anticipated Samsung Quick Share app will also be available.
