IT Home reported on March 15 that recently, there was a rumor in the so-called official communication group of OnePlus mobile phones that Hydrogen OS will cease operations. In response to this, OnePlus related personnel and Weibo blogger @逍遥怪河马 said that the information described in this picture is false, and hoped that everyone would not spread malicious or well-intentioned rumors.
The information in the screenshot stated that "Hydrogen OS will shut down its official website on March 24, will officially shut down the server OTA on April 1, and will bring the 'Last Meditation' event", all of which were refuted by OnePlus.
IT Home previously reported that the OnePlus 9 series new product launch conference will be held at 14:00 on March 24 at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center. Both OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will be equipped with Hasselblad mobile imaging system. Mobile phones including OnePlus 8T were released with Hydrogen OS system. The official website stated that HydrogenOS 11 is completely new, equipped with Android 11, a new visual design, a new interactive concept, refreshing, and more functional. It has been optimized with up to 142 OS details, making it smoother and easier to use.
