According to Jiwei.com on March 4, Redmi’s official Weibo account today announced the first sales report of its Redmi K40 series, with sales exceeding 300,000 units in 5 minutes.
It is understood that the first Redmi K40 series sold this time include two mobile phones, Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro. The Redmi K40 Pro+ that everyone is concerned about will not be available for sale until late March.
In terms of appearance, the front of the three Redmi K40 series phones are all designed with a centered hole-punch screen with an aperture of 2.76mm, and a rectangular camera layout on the back. They use a new generation of ergonomic side fingerprints without a depression, and the height is flush with the volume button. The K40 is available in three colors: Bright Black, Clear Snow, and Fantasy, while the K40 Pro and Pro+ are available in three colors: Ink Feather, Clear Snow, and Fantasy. The body weight is 196g and the thickness is 7.8mm.
In terms of configuration, the entire Redmi K40 series uses a 6.67-inch AMOLED straight screen, the latest Samsung E4 luminous material, a peak brightness of 1300nit, supports a 120Hz refresh rate, supplemented by UFS3.1 flash memory, a front 20-megapixel selfie camera, a built-in 4520mAh battery, supports 33W fast charging, and is pre-installed with MIUI deeply customized based on Android. It also has liquid-cooled stereo cooling system, super night scene video, Dolby Atmos stereo dual speakers, X-axis linear motor, full-function NFC, infrared remote control and other features.

The difference is that the Redmi K40 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, LPDDR5 memory, a rear 48-megapixel main camera (IMX 582) + 5-megapixel telephoto macro + 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle, and supports WiFi6, while the Redmi K40 Pro and Redmi K40 Pro are equipped with Snapdragon 888, support WiFi6 enhanced version, and are equipped with a full-blood version of LPDDR5 (3200MHz). The former's main camera is upgraded to 64-megapixel main camera (IMX686), and the latter's main camera is 108 million pixels (Samsung HM2), and the parameters of the other two lenses remain unchanged.
In terms of price, the 6+128GB version of Redmi K40 is priced at 1,999 yuan, the 8+128GB version is priced at 2,199 yuan, the 8+256GB version is priced at 2,499 yuan, and the 12+256GB version is priced at 2,699 yuan, of which the 12+256GB top-end version is priced at a limited time special price of 2,499 yuan. The 6+128GB version of Redmi K40 Pro is priced at 2,799 yuan, the 8+128GB version is priced at 2,999 yuan, and the 8+256GB version is priced at 3,299 yuan. The 12+256GB version of Redmi K40 Pro+ is priced at 3,699 yuan.
