According to 36Kr, Ruishi Technology recently completed a round A financing of more than 100 million yuan, led by Chuanggu Capital, followed by Haiheng Capital, Huiyou Capital, Yangzi Xinrui, Guohua Investment and Beijing Bainawell Technology Co., Ltd.
It is reported that this round of financing will be mainly used for the research and development and market development of VCSEL optical chip technology and related products.

Ruishi Technology was founded in early 2018 by a team of returnee PhDs from the United States. It is dedicated to the field of semiconductor optics. Its core technologies include optical chip design, optical lens integration, device-level integrated packaging, mathematical modeling, and optoelectronic system integration optimization.

It is reported that as one of the few domestic VCSEL suppliers, Ruishi Technology has now opened up the entire chain of "chip + packaging + optical integration", and achieved complete independent control of key technologies such as chip design and optical integration optimization. It will effectively break the monopoly of VCSEL dominated by foreign manufacturers, reduce the risk of VCSEL supply interruption in China , and inject more stability into China's 3D sensing.
In August 2020, Ruishi Technology launched the industry's first ultra-narrow light single-hole VCSEL chip with a divergence angle of 10-15°. The smaller divergence angle provides innovative chip-level solutions to solve the problem of internal signal crosstalk in proximity sensing modules.
According to the official website of Ruishi Technology, its VCSEL epitaxy and chip design have completed mass production verification of hundreds of 6-inch wafers, and has industry-leading performance. It also covers a complete product series with different wavelengths including 850nm and 940nm, and optical power ranging from a few milliwatts to several watts. It can be used in different scenarios such as 3D structured light, proximity sensing, infrared flood light source and 3D TOF sensing.
It is reported that all of Ruishi Technology's optical chip products are mass-produced on 6-inch GaAs wafers and samples are available.
