OnePlus is rumored to launch its new flagship phone in March, the OnePlus 9. Many of these rumors have suggested that OnePlus will launch three OnePlus phones - the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9E. But now it seems that the OnePlus 9 series will have not just three models, but four, including the OnePlus 9 Lite.
According to tipster TechDroider, the OnePlus 9 Lite is said to have two models, LE2100 and LE2101, which will be sold in India and China. The difference from the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro is that the "Lite" version will use last year's Snapdragon 865 processor instead of the latest Snapdragon 888. Interestingly, the OnePlus 9E is also rumored to be equipped with Snapdragon 865, which makes us wonder whether the OnePlus 9E and 9 Lite are the same device. It is possible that they are the same device, or at least very similar. The "Lite" model will be aimed at the Indian and Chinese markets, while the 9E will be aimed at the US and European markets.
Speaking of OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, both smartphones will be equipped with Snapdragon 888, coupled with 8GB of RAM. It is reported that OnePlus 9 supports 120Hz refresh rate and HDR. The resolution of this smartphone is 2400×1080p (Full-HD+). In addition, Android 11 is pre-installed.
We don’t know much about OnePlus 9 Lite at the moment. It is expected that more details about the OnePlus 9 series will surface in the coming days. IT Home will stay tuned.
