MediaTek's revenue last year was NT$322.145 billion, a record high

According to the Economic Daily, MediaTek's financial report released today (11) showed that its revenue decreased slightly in December last year, but its full-year revenue still hit a record high.

MediaTek's revenue in December last year was NT$32.429 billion, down 3.3% from the previous month and up 46.8% from the previous year. Its consolidated revenue in the fourth quarter of last year was NT$96.405 billion, down 0.8% from the previous quarter. The company's consolidated revenue for the whole year last year was NT$322.145 billion, up 30.8% from the previous year.

This morning, MediaTek’s official Weibo account announced that it will release new products in the Dimensity series on January 20. According to the leaked information, MediaTek will release a 6nm SoC this time, positioned as a sub-flagship, equipped with an ARM Cortex-A78 core, with a maximum frequency of 3.0GHz for the main core, and a GPU part that is the same Mali G77MC9 as the Dimensity 1000+.

MediaTek is another company besides Qualcomm that can supply 3G, 4G and 5G processors to smartphone manufacturers on a large scale. Although MediaTek's chips previously focused on the low-end market, MediaTek has recently been developing rapidly.
