It is reported that Shengmei Semiconductor is mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of semiconductor-specific equipment, and its main products include semiconductor cleaning equipment, semiconductor electroplating equipment and advanced packaging wet equipment, etc. The company adheres to the development strategy of differentiated competition and innovation, and provides customized equipment and process solutions to global semiconductor manufacturing, packaging testing and other customers through its independently developed single-wafer megasonic cleaning technology, single-wafer tank combination cleaning technology, electroplating technology, stress-free polishing technology and vertical furnace tube technology, effectively improving customers' production efficiency, improving product yield and reducing production costs.
From 2017 to 2019, ACM Semiconductor's operating income was RMB 253.5873 million, RMB 550.2691 million, and RMB 756.7330 million, respectively; and its net profit was RMB 10.8606 million, RMB 92.5304 million, and RMB 134.8873 million, respectively.
Previously, Dr. Wang Hui, Chairman of ACM Semiconductor, said in an interview with Jiwei.com: "The development of China's semiconductor industry in recent years can be said to be rapid. Especially in terms of new production lines, including Yangtze Memory, Hefei Changxin, SMIC, Huahong Huali have multiple wafer fabs under expansion, and Jetta Semiconductor, Silan Microelectronics, CanSemi, etc. are also building new production lines, so I think the current domestic market environment is particularly good. Especially for ACM Semiconductor, which has more than ten years of technology reserves, we are catching up with a good period of rapid development."
It is reported that ACM Semiconductor decided to take a differentiated route from the very beginning when it entered the cleaning equipment market in order to compete with international manufacturers. After more than 20 years of technical accumulation, ACM Semiconductor has now grown into a "leader" in domestic cleaning equipment. The company's R&D team has successively developed SAPS, TEBO, Tahoe and other world-leading semiconductor cleaning technologies and equipment.
According to Wang Hui, in 2009, after ACM's first megasonic cleaning technology SAPS achieved a breakthrough, it entered the SK Hynix Wuxi production line for testing, and this was the first time that domestic equipment entered an internationally renowned manufacturer; in 2015, the company's R&D team developed the TEBO damage-free megasonic cleaning technology; in 2018, ACM took another step forward and released the Tahoe high-temperature sulfuric acid cleaning equipment
