Judging from the schedule, at the same time as the Samsung Galaxy S20 series was released, the Note 20 series should have also completed its research and development work and started testing and mass production preparations.
According to foreign media reports, the starting capacity of the Galaxy Note 20 with model number SM-N981 has been adjusted to 128GB.
This is a somewhat strange choice. Although the S20 series also starts at 128GB, last year's Galaxy Note 10 series all started at 256GB. It's just that the Note10 does not support memory card expansion, only the Note 10+ does.
It is speculated that the Note 20's choice of 128GB starting capacity means the return of the memory card expansion function on the basic version. At the same time, lowering the starting capacity can also offset part of the high cost of 5G chips.
Since the Snapdragon 865 5G platform supports 8K video shooting and is valued by Samsung, the return of the microSD card will undoubtedly make users in need feel more at ease.
Earlier reports said that the Galaxy Note 20 series will be released in July, and it is likely to be the first to launch under-screen camera technology, achieving the closest to perfect full-screen solution.
