According to foreign media MacRumors, UBS analysts Timothy Arcuri and Munjal Shah said that Apple plans to release a 5.4-inch, a 6.7-inch and two 6.1-inch iPhones in 2020.
Analysts expect all four iPhones to use OLED screens, but other configurations such as camera specifications and RAM will vary by model.
In a shared research note, the analysts provided an overview of the four iPhone models they expect to launch in 2020:
6.7-inch iPhone: 6GB RAM, triple rear camera (supports 3D Sensing)
6.1-inch iPhone: 6GB RAM, triple rear camera (supports 3D Sensing)
6.1-inch iPhone: 4GB RAM, dual rear cameras
5.4-inch iPhone: 4GB RAM, dual rear cameras
The camera specs are consistent with those previously shared by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, while the 6GB of RAM in the two highest-end models is in line with predictions from Barclays analysts in November 2019.
5G will become an important feature of high-end iPhones in 2020. UBS also surveyed more than 9,000 consumers in China, the United States, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom and found that 22% of respondents believed 5G was a reason worth upgrading their smartphones.
