Recently, foreign media reported that Huawei's Richard Yu said that the company's plan to launch a new MateBook laptop has been temporarily shelved, and there is no exact date, which depends on when the US will lift the ban. After all, American companies such as Intel and Microsoft are involved in the fate of Huawei's PC products. The former provides processor chips and the latter provides computer operating systems. However, due to the policy of the US Department of Commerce, their normal business dealings with Huawei have been affected.
Although Huawei entered the PC market very late, its MateBook series products are gaining favor among many consumers with their innovative design, excellent quality and strong business attributes. Moreover, this new MateBook notebook was originally scheduled to be unveiled at the Asian Consumer Electronics Show held in Shanghai this week.
However, we know in the early stages of this technological war that Huawei has announced that it is developing operating systems for various platforms, which will be used on its own devices when necessary, so Huawei will not go to a dead end.
