Today the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted Microsoft a design patent for the Xbox Adaptive Controller, a video game controller designed by Microsoft for Windows PCs and the Xbox One video game console. The controller is designed for people with disabilities to help users input video games more easily.

      Today, Microsoft was awarded patent D848423 by the US Patent and Trademark Office. Microsoft originally applied for this design patent on March 30, 2018.
