PADS high-speed routing [Copy link]

When using PADS for high-speed routing, I always feel that it is not very convenient, such as when routing equidistant and equal-length wiring. Someone familiar with PADS will explain it.

It is not easy to operate the equidistant and equal length wiring in any software. PADS cloth, a high-speed line, should be better.   Details Published on 2022-12-11 09:34

Check the manual or instruction manual, there should be one. At worst, the help file in the EDA design and wiring software should be there. You can also configure the RULES rules for verification, which should be helpful.

There should be a tool for equal length. Usually, you need to use serpentine routing to wrap the shorter signal line to within the length tolerance of the longest signal line in the group.
