MediaTek MT6785 chip running points: using Cortex A76 as the big core

Will the long-awaited MediaTek A76 big-core architecture chip create a stir? Industry insider @天涯一线謙 broke the news that a chip identified as alps k85v1_64 appeared in the GeekBench 4 database. This is a typical MediaTek public version verification platform product, and it may be named MT6785.

The chip identification code is part 3339, which confirms that the big core is the Cortex A76 public version.

      In terms of running points, the single-core is 2415 and the multi-core is 7085, which is significantly lower than the single-core 3300+ and multi-core 10000+ of Snapdragon 855 and Kirin 980. Some comments say that the chip is a dual-core A76 with six small cores, 12nm process, and the performance target is not aggressive.

      Currently, MediaTek's newest and best-architecture chip is Helio P90 (MT6779), which has 2 Cortex A75s and +6 Cortex A55s, a large core of 2.2GHz, and a running score of about 2000/6800.

I don’t know whether this chip with A76 will still belong to the P series or the long-lost X flagship series.
