Meizu Technology announced that Meizu 16s is now available on major e-commerce platforms including Meizu official website, Meizu Tmall official flagship store, JD.com, and Suning.com, and is open for pre-order. It will be officially released in Zhuhai on April 23.
The Jingdong reservation page shows that the Meizu 16s reservation deadline is 23:59 on April 24, suggesting that the phone may go on sale on April 25. Previously, Huang Zhang, founder of Meizu Technology and chairman and CEO of Meizu Group, revealed that the Meizu 16s will start mass production at the end of March and will be available in April.
At present, most of the details about the phone have been revealed. It continues the 16th's full-screen solution without notches. Its screen size is 6.2 inches, the resolution is FHD+, and the material is AMOLED. Huang Zhang emphasized that the real Meizu 16s is very beautiful, especially the white version. Its no-notch design is better than the full-screen solutions on the market, such as notches, water drops, sliding covers, lifting, and digging holes.
In terms of core configuration, the Meizu 16s is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship platform, 8GB of memory, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a 48-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual rear camera. The main lens is Sony IMX586, supports OIS optical image stabilization, has a battery capacity of 3600mAh, and has full-function NFC, but does not support wireless charging.
