Panasonic demonstrated the concept of a new generation of Internet TV at "CEATEC JAPAN 2010" held at Makuhari MESSE International Convention Center from October 5 to 9, 2010. The concept envisions the TV as a multifunctional display that can not only watch TV programs, but also integrate the real information obtained by sensors with the Internet. The demonstration was carried out under the four major themes of "entertainment", "life support", "safety and peace of mind" and "energy saving and environmental protection". However, it was not an actual demonstration, but a related video was played.

In the "Entertainment" demonstration, when a user is watching a TV program and a scene of interest appears (in this demonstration, the scene of the Taj Mahal in India), the user can stop the scene by gesture. At this time, information about the Taj Mahal and travel to northern India will be displayed based on the information attached to the program. In addition, a tour guide to the Taj Mahal provided by a travel agency will be displayed.

When watching 3D sports programs, you can remotely select friends to watch with you. You can exchange information with each other while watching the game. In addition, you can answer questions from your living room in a quiz show, or send your own image taken by the camera installed on the TV to the show, and synthesize the picture as if you are actually participating in the quiz show. In addition, the function of using the TV as a family photo browser was demonstrated.

In the "Life Support" area, 3D online shopping was demonstrated. The products you want to buy are displayed in real size and rotated in 3D. When buying clothes, you can use the butler function to display accessories that fit the clothes, or use the fitting function to display your image in 3D when you actually wear the clothes. In addition, the environment function can be used to change the background into a tree-lined avenue, so that users can confirm the environment through images close to the actual environment. In the flea market demonstration, it was shown that the camera was used to bargain with someone who wanted to sell his guitar.

In the health management demonstration, the TV and cloud computing were linked to manage the amount of exercise, calories burned, body fat percentage, etc. It can display charts or fitness trainer advice.

In terms of "safety and peace of mind", the company demonstrated how to check the security of a home through surveillance camera images on TV, and how to watch children through outdoor surveillance cameras. In terms of "energy saving and environmental protection", the company demonstrated how to use TV to centrally manage energy consumption and the timing of home appliances in the home. It also demonstrated how to manage electricity using solar power generation.

When the Taj Mahal screen that the user is interested in appears, display the guide information
