There are some circuits inside the DC reduction motor. When using it, be sure to use it in a dry environment and not in a humid environment, otherwise there is a risk of short circuit. What should I do if the reduction motor is soaked in water?
1. Remove the sludge and impurities outside the reduction motor, but do not turn the high-voltage motor shaft.
2. Disassemble the DC motor body, clean the sludge and water stains on the inner cavity of the shell, the rotor and the slip ring, check whether the winding is desoldered, whether the brush is rusted and stuck in the brush holder, whether the brush pressure is normal, and whether the brush is close to the slip ring surface. If any fault is found, it should be eliminated.
3. Dry the windings. You can use an incandescent lamp to bake and evaporate the moisture, or you can put it in a ventilated place to dry naturally. But do not use electric current heating or open flame baking to prevent the insulation layer from short-circuiting or baking. After drying, use a megohmmeter or multimeter to check the insulation performance of each winding. If the insulation is poor, it should be sent to the DC motor maintenance department for repair.
4. Reassemble the machine body and conduct a trial run. If there are no problems during the trial run, it can be put into use.
If the DC reduction motor is soaked in water, it must be stopped immediately, and excess sludge, impurities, etc. must be removed in time, and the reduction motor must be repaired. It can only be used after inspection and confirmation that there is no problem.
