Automotive digital key system architecture
The digital key system is an interactive and complex system. In the process of digital key and vehicle interaction, data interaction and communication between multiple devices and multiple clouds are involved, including the vehicle side, vehicle service platform, smart device side, and smart device service platform. These devices and platforms together constitute the digital key system, which realizes the control of the vehicle through the digital key through Internet technology and Internet of Things technology.
(I) Vehicle service platform & vehicle-side equipment
1. Vehicle-side equipment: Vehicle-side hardware equipment mainly includes vehicle controller (MCU), communication components, SE security components, etc. These hardware devices are the basis for realizing the connection and communication between the vehicle and the digital key, as well as the corresponding vehicle control functions. For example: after the owner's "digital key" establishes a connection with the vehicle through the communication component, the owner issues a digital command to unlock the vehicle, and the corresponding controller will execute the command to unlock the vehicle.
2. Vehicle service platform: The digitization of car keys and the realization of corresponding vehicle control functions require not only the support of basic hardware facilities, but also the coordination of software. As a bridge between vehicles and smart devices & service platforms, the vehicle service platform plays an important role in the entire digital key system. It is mainly responsible for data interaction and command issuance with the smart device side and the vehicle side. Its core business includes user management, vehicle management, smart device management, key digitization, key life cycle management, vehicle control, data security, etc.
(II) Smart Device & Service Platform
1. Smart device end: The smart device end here mainly refers to mobile smart devices such as mobile phones, watches, and bracelets. As the carriers of digital keys, they themselves need to have the corresponding hardware foundation to realize the connection and interaction between the "digital key" and the vehicle, mainly including NFC chips, Bluetooth chips, UWB chips and related security chips in mobile devices.
2. Car APP: The application here refers to the mobile application provided by the car manufacturer to users that runs on smartphones, watches and other devices. Users can use this application to authorize and manage digital keys.
3. Wallet APP: Wallet APP is an application provided by mobile smart device manufacturers. In the application scenario of car digital key, users need to bind the digital key with the wallet APP, and then use the communication capability of the smart mobile device to use the digital key to realize the corresponding vehicle control function.
4. Smart device service platform: Smart device service platform refers to the management platform of the digital key business of smart device manufacturers. Its core business includes user management, key management, vehicle access, device management, verification, data security services, communication security services, etc. For example: OPPO's digital key service,
after the car owner completes the card binding in the Car APP, the OPPO mobile phone background service needs to register the car information and Bluetooth information to the CarLink Service in order to carry out corresponding business management.
