FP6293 is a DC-DC boost IC from Yuanxiang, with an operating voltage of 2.6-5.5V and an adjustable output voltage of up to 12V. It has a built-in 0.14MQ, 3.5A, 18V power MOSFET, an operating frequency of 1MHz, and a shutdown current of 0.1μA. The typical application is 3V to 12V 0.75A (82% efficiency). It is very popular and is recommended by many projects for boosting lithium batteries.
The maximum power of FP6293 can reach 8W, and the maximum output voltage is 12V. For example, a single lithium battery of 3-4.2V can be used as 5V1.5A, 9V0.8A, and 12V0.6A.
The FP6293 is a current mode step-up DC-DC converter. Its PWM circuit with built-in 0.14Ω power MOSFET makes this regulator highly efficient. The internal compensation network can also minimize up to 6 external component counts. The non-inverting input of the error amplifier is connected to a 0.6V precision reference voltage, and the internal soft-start function can reduce the inrush current.
FP6293 is available in DFN-8L/SOP-8L packages, and provides space saving for engineering design PCB.
