With the growing market demand for high-precision micro-terminal products, the stamping process has attracted increasing attention from connector manufacturers. Among the four core processes of manufacturing companies, the process level of stamping production has a decisive influence on the quality of finished products. Why are connector terminals produced by molding? The main reason is that the characteristics of the stamping process are very consistent with the production characteristics of the connector.
(1) Since the material of the stamping parts is sheet metal, its surface quality is good, which provides convenient conditions for subsequent surface treatment processes such as electroplating.
(2) Stamping is a processing method with high productivity and low consumables. It is suitable for the production of large quantities of products and is easy to mechanize and automate. While improving production efficiency, stamping production can not only reduce waste and eliminate waste, but also make full use of some waste even if it exists.
(3) Stamping can produce parts with complex shapes that are difficult to produce with other metal processing methods.
(4) Stamping parts produced in batches using molds are cheap.
(5) Easy to operate, operators do not need to have high skills.
(6) Stamped parts usually do not require further machining and have high dimensional accuracy.
(7) Stamping parts have good interchangeability. They have good stability during the stamping process, and stamping parts of the same batch can be used interchangeably without affecting assembly and product performance.
(8) Stamping can produce parts with high strength, high rigidity and light weight.
