How to connect the soft start motor
Soft start motors generally use star-delta starting method, and the wiring method is as follows:
1. Check the motor parameters: Before wiring the soft start motor, first check the parameters of the motor itself to ensure that its withstand voltage, power level and other parameters meet the requirements of the soft start motor to avoid damage to the motor or soft starter.
2. Wiring sequence: Connect the U, V, and W three-phase power supply to the soft starter's incoming line terminals, and pay attention to the correct connection sequence. Generally speaking, the motor's U phase is connected to L1 of the soft starter, the V phase is connected to L2, and the W phase is connected to L3.
3. Star-delta connection: Connect the output terminals of the soft starter to the corresponding power terminals of the motor. Specifically, the R of the soft starter should be connected to the U phase of the motor, S to the V phase of the motor, and T to the W phase of the motor, and mark them.
4. Grounding wire: Carefully check the wiring diagram of the motor and soft starter, correctly connect the grounding wire to the equipment in time, and do not connect it to the power phase line.
In short, the correct soft start motor wiring method can ensure that the motor can start normally, reduce the current impact of the motor during the startup process, extend the life of the equipment, and improve the reliability of the equipment. However, it is necessary to pay attention to follow the relevant electrical safety regulations, and perform safety work before operating electrical equipment, such as cutting off the relevant power supply and touching the leakage of the equipment.

4. Reduce maintenance costs: In traditional starting methods, the instantaneous impact of starting current will cause great damage to the motor and equipment. However, soft start motors use a variety of protection measures to reduce damage to equipment and reduce the maintenance cost of the motor.
