Hardware Implementation of Ethernet Gateway Domain Controller
The solution is equipped with dual MCUs, of which the Freescale i.mx6q processor is used to process algorithms under complex working conditions, and the NXP S32K148 processor is used for vehicle signal routing; the Ethernet gateway includes CAN/CANFD and Ethernet communication modules, and the Ethernet communication module circuit consists of MAC control and physical layer PHY interface.
The Ethernet system structure includes 5-channel CAN (supporting 4-channel CAN FD), 1-way Lin, 4-way digital switch acquisition, 5-way 100base-t1, 1-way 100base-tx and 2-way power input.
During the Ethernet bus transmission process, the transmission cable itself and all loads on the bus channel have more or less losses, including circuit consumption, filtering circuits, circuit converters, connectors of various components, etc.
Signal frequency also has a great influence on attenuation. Based on this consideration, the design scheme adopts 8-layer high-density board, and the layout and wiring are strictly set in the rules to optimize the signal integrity design.
